All our Instructors are qualified to RYA standards. Please remember that courses are often held in response to demand, so do let us know what you want, fill in the slip, or email the Office.

If you have individual needs let us have an opportunity to see if we can deliver suitable training, designed for you.
Special courses tailored for your needs can be arranged.

Fees indicated are for members of other Clubs. There is a discount for RHYC & CA members.

RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate. The short range certificate is the radio operator qualification which authorises the holder to operate a VHF radio telephone, fitted with a digital selective calling (DSC) on board any British vessel which is fitted with radio equipment. Holders of the 'old' VHF licence will need to upgrade their qualifications if they purchase new equipment.
