Clubhouse Hire for events and functions.

The RHYC facilities are available for hire to Members, Individuals or Companies, subject to Club Activities or prior commitments..

These consist of:
The Main Clubroom which can hold 100 persons, the Ashbury Room (60), the Wreck Room (20) or the Training Room.

The Club Lawn with its river views can also be hired

Additional facilities are available for seminars, business meetings etc., including :-
Slide & Overhead projectors with Screen, PA System, TV & Video, Flip Charts, Dry Marker Board.


The Members rates for room hireper day or part thereof inclusive of VAT are as follows
Main Clubroom   £100-00
Ashbury Room     £100-00
Wreck Room     £50-00
Training Room     £25-00

Non-members rates per day or part thereof inclusive of VAT

Main Clubroom   £150-00
Ashbury Room     £120-00
Wreck Room     £50-00
Training Room     £25-00

All weddings and similar large functions attract an additional charge of £150-00 to cover the extra preparation and clearing required as well as the extended hours normal for such events.

Charges are waived in whole or part for Maritime Charities.

Corkage will be charged per bottle for all private drink supplies consumed on Club premises when Bar Staff are required to be present. Corkage will not be charged for members' private "Self service" parties.
Wine @ £3-00 per bottle, Champagne @ £5-00.

At all times when the Club is normally open to members, either the Main Clubroom or the Ashbury Room must remain available for Members' use. Functions organised on a Friday during the Sailing season (April to October) would normally be pre-prepared buffets to allow the cooking facilities to remain available for Club Members.

To assist our caterer with the purchase of food and staffing arrangements it is necessary to specify a cut off date. For a Saturday this will be the previous Wednesday (72 hours notice). We ask for final confirmation of numbers by this time. As a general rule cancellations cannot be accepted after the cut off. Numbers booked must be paid for whether or not they attend.
